Versions (2017-06-12)
- Printix Client for Windows version 1.1.1006.0.
- Printix Client for Mac version 1.1.795.0.
Improvements
- To better assist companies with multiple sites and/or separate networks, Printix Administrator now features a Networks page. It lists the named networks. You can add and rename networks. If you open the Network properties page you can see the list of gateways and their IP and MAC addresses. For each gateway you can see what computers are currently on the network via that particular gateway. You can delete a gateway from a network. For additional information see the Printix Administrator Manual.
- Printing via the cloud allows users to print between networks to printers which are on an isolated network or otherwise not reachable from the user's computer. This feature is now generally available. Before you had to contact us to get to use this feature. For additional information see the Printix Administrator Manual.
- For new customers, the first network is now named Network1 instead of Default.
Known issues
- Deploying Printix Client via Microsoft Intune and Windows Installer through MDM does not work. Please inform us so we can supply you with Printix Client version 1.1.1049.0 or newer.
- Printix Client for Windows: On Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) at sign in, it may complain about missing System.web.dll and errors in production.js. This happens if Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 is installed. To resolve, upgrade to Microsoft .NET Framework 4.
- Printix Client for Windows: If you open the Control Panel, Features and Programs and click Printix Client the Product version is that of the initially installed Printix Client. The current version number can be seen on the Printix Client Diagnostics dialog.
