On Mac computers running macOS 10.15.1 or later you may get the message: “Printix Client.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
Tip: If you deploy Printix Client for Mac with Intune, you will not get this message and Printix Client will just install.
To install Printix Client for Mac on macOS 10.15.1 or later follow these steps:
- Select Apple menu, System Preferences..., then select Security & Privacy.
- On the General tab select Open Anyway which appears next to the message: “Printix Client.pkg” was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer.
- Proceed to install Printix Client.
Note: Printix is indeed an identified Apple developer and the Printix Client software is signed with our Apple developer ID. We have reported this to Apple.
