Versions (2020-01-21)
- Printix Client for Windows version 1.3.683.0.
- Printix Client for Mac version 1.3.681.0.
- Printix App version 2.0.4.
- Printix for Chromebook version 1.0.0.64.
New features
- Support for multiple Azure AD directories. On the Authentication page's Azure AD tab it is possible add more than one Azure AD directory. This is useful for separate companies, sharing office space and printers, as they can use the one and same Printix Home and only need to setup and manage printers and print queues once. Furthermore, Azure AD users’ Department is recorded and can be used to post process data for subsequent departmental/company billing.
- Support for multiple Google domains. On the Authentication page's Google tab it is possible to add more than one Google domain.
Ricoh print driver security vulnerability
- Update 2020-01-28. In response to potential security vulnerabilities in some Ricoh print drivers (CVE-2019-19363) the Printix Driver Store has been updated to use version 4.26 of these 64-bit Ricoh universal PCL6 and PS print drivers: RICOH PCL6 UniversalDriver, PCL6 Driver for Universal Print, RICOH PS UniversalDriver and PS Driver for Universal Print. For Ricoh PCL5 printers on 64-bit, the default was change to HP Universal Printing PCL5. For 32-bit (PCL5, PCL6 and PS) the default print driver was changed to the corresponding HP universal print driver. Print queues that are configured and locked to use earlier versions can continue to use those, but once unlocked the earlier versions of the print drivers can not be selected again, as they have been marked as deprecated. These changes also apply to Gestetner, Nashuatec, NRG, Infotec, Lanier and Savin.
Improvements

Fixes
- The choice of Windows default printer was not always preserved when the Windows default printer was converted to become managed by Printix. After conversion the Windows default printer typically changed to another printer, for example the OneNote printer. Now the choice of Windows default printer is preserved.
- Documents printed via the cloud are now deleted from the Printix Client Jobs folder on the receiving computer.
- Modifying the properties of multiple printers (up to 20) now works in Edge browser.
- Various fixes to issue detection and in-app notifications in Printix App.
- Printix App would freeze if the More menu (three vertical dots) was used to Delete a document that was not selected.
- In the native Printix App, if a document is selected, the Scan QR and Scan NFC tag icons can now only be selected once the updated status of the document is known. Before the icons could be selected regardless, and this could result in buggy behavior when scanning a printer's QR code or NFC tag.
- Register NFC tag in native Printix App for Android could show misleading error messages.
Known issues
- This version of Printix App on Android phones is represented by a generic Android icon instead of the Printix logo. Pending an update to third-party framework (PP-5211).
- This version and earlier of Printix App on iPhone 7 and above with iOS 13 or later, does NOT support register NFC tag. Pending an update to third-party framework (PP-5126).
- On Windows, when you open the Control Panel, Features and Programs and select Printix Client the Product version is that of the initially installed Printix Client.
