Chromebook, Cloud Print API and Android printing was affected. Unprinted documents were printed after the service was brought back up at 09:05 CET. Analysis is being performed and root cause and actions to avoid this in the future will be identified. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Incident report
On 2022-01-27 (Thursday, January 27th. 2022) at 08:27 we received support request indicating that printing via the Printix Cloud Print API did not work at a customer. Subsequent analysis showed, that the job-conversion service had been unresponsive since 21:00 CET January 26th. At 09:05 CET the job-conversion service was restarted and at 09:15 CET we reached out to the customer asking them to print again. At 09:24 CET the customer reported the issue as resolved. At 11:26 CET this announcement was published as resolved.
Actions
- Monitoring of the job-conversion service has been put in place, such that if it becomes responsive an alert will be sent by PagerDuty.
