Since March 29th 2022 (2022-03-29) we have temporarily changed the pace with which we update computers to new Printix Client versions. In the past whenever we made available a new version to a customer, the computers would update within 1-2 hours or as they came online.
As we are updating customers to the new Printix Client version (with the vulnerabilty fixes mentioned in the changelog 2022-02) we have decided to introduce a limit on how many computers can update at any one time. This is simply to avoid the system becoming slow/unresponsive due to the massive updates occuring.
In our backlog we have a task to handle the burden of updates in a more intelligent way, also to avoid that customers with tens of thousans of computers risk that their network bandwidth is being consumed by the Printix Client updates.
We still have the possibility to update at a higher pace for individual customers, so if you need this to for example have your computer conform to the required version to use for example Printix Go Xerox, then please open a support request.
