New features
- Printix Configurator can use a CSV file with computers and print queues to add print queues to computers. You must use the -q2c (Queue to Computer) argument to have Printix Configurator offer this functionality and Printix Configurator must be version 1.3.1250 or later.
- Printix Go Lexmark version 1.2.1.9 now supports printers and MFPs that are compatible with eSF version 7. MFPs: CX730, CX735, CX930, CX931, CX942, CX943, CX944, MX432, MX931, XC4342, XC4352, XC9325, XC9335, XC9445, XC9455, XC9465, XM3142 Printers: C4342, C4352, CS730, CS735, CS943.
Improvements
- For customers with 1000s of printers and print queues, the Print dialog (in Windows and macOS) could under some circumstances appear unresponsive (or blank) for several minutes. To allow the Print dialog to always appear in a timely manner, the Printix Client has been modified so the CPU intensive processing of configuration changes for printers and print queues are now offloaded from the service (PrintixService.exe) to the user interface (PrintixClient.exe).
Requires update to Printix Client for Windows version 1.3.1197.0 or later. - Improved security - Strong signature algorithm. Per-computer created certificate chain (path) and stronger signature algorithm. Printix Cloud will now use a self-signed root certificate to sign and deploy certificates to each Windows computer. Stronger SHA 256 with RSA (sha256RSA) signature algorithm replaces SHA 1 with RSA (sha1RSA) signature algorithm. The certificate allows secure HTTPS communication on Windows as follows: A) Locally between Print Spooler and Printix Client, B) Between Printix Client and Printix Redirector, and C) To transfer capture data from Printix Go enabled printers to Printix Client.
- Improved security - Use HTTPS between Print Spooler and Printix Client. Add Windows Registry DWORD value name DisableHTTPPrinting with a value of 1. Printix printing on Windows is still NOT possible if a group policy (GPO) disables HTTP printing as this also disable HTTPS printing for the Windows Print Spooler.
Fixes
- Printix App. Scanning QR codes on Printix Go printer's touchscreen with the phone camera could result in a sign in loop in the web Printix App. Occurred if the user was not already signed in and had to Sign in with email to the web Printix App while scanning a QR code in connection with either a Card registration or having selected Forgot code.
- Printix App web version 2.1.12 introduced a bug where you in connection with release of anywhere documents had to go to the Printers page, select Show all and then select the desired printer. With version 2.1.13 it is again possible to select printer on the Print page.

- Printix Client can now discover HP Officejet Pro 8600 in Home office networks.
Requires update to Printix Client for Windows version 1.3.1235.0 or later. - Printix Client for Mac can now install on computers with Apple M2.
Requires update to Printix Client for Mac version 1.3.1239.0 or later. - Printing from Printix Chromebook was reported as coming out in color even when Black and white was selected in printer setting and either or IPPS or IPP was configured as the connection protocol to the printer. Problem was seen with Ricoh IM C3000. Printix Client was changed to use IPP protocol version 1.1 instead of version 1.0.
Requires Printix Client version 1.3.1246. - Printix Configurator using TLS 1.2 to connect to Printix Cloud. Using an earlier version than 1.3.1250 after 2022-12-22 would result in error message: Login failed (get token).
Known issues

- If you get a blank screen or are no longer able to access the Printix Administrator (acme.printix.net/admin), then you should clear browsing data.
